  • Big Banyan Tree: Big Banyan Tree is a real tree which is planted in the south of the Yang Shuo in Jin dynasty of China, 1400 years ago. It is 17 meters long and looks like a huge umbrella from far away.
  • Daxu Ancient Town: Daxu Ancient Town, located at the east bank of the Li River about 18km (11.18 miles) southeast of Guilin, is one of the four famous historical towns in Guangxi province dating back to A.D.200. It is a hub of waterway transportation, as well as a distribution center of fair trade.
  • Elephant Trunk Hill : Elephant Trunk Hill is located on the western bank of Li River Scenery, at the confluence of Li River and the Peach Blossom River (Taohuajiang). It obtained its name because the mountain resembles closely an elephant stretching its nose drinking water on the river bank. It is known as a symbol of Guilin landscape.

  • Guilin Rice Noodles (Mifen): For local people, Guilin Rice Noodles are the cheapest and most common food. Some people eat it as everyday food. It was first produced in the Qin Dynasty (B.C.221-206), thus we can also say that Guilin people have eaten Guilin Rice Noodles for over 2000 years.
  • Lipu Taro and Pork Loaf: Lipu Taro and Pork Loaf, a traditional famous dish of Guilin, has been announced as the national specialty. Fried marbling pork and Lipu taro steamed together in a pot.
